JASON K. HASLAM, MD
Dr. Jason Haslam is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He has completed advanced orthopaedic surgical training with a fellowship in upper extremity surgery, including shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. Dr. Haslam also has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. A portion of his training included microsurgery, nerve and vascular surgery. Dr. Haslam enjoys working in all areas of orthopedics, so his practice scope and experience is broad. He is as comfortable and confident in performing surgical cases of complex joint reconstruction of the knees and hips as he is with intricate microsurgery repair of digital vessels and nerves.
Dr. Haslam’s extensive training and experience ensures his patients receive top-notch, comprehensive orthopaedic care. Dr. Haslam’s education includes a mechanical engineering degree from Brigham Young University, in Utah; his Medical Doctorate degree from Loma Linda University, in California; his orthopaedic surgery residency at University of California Irvine; and, his upper extremity fellowship at University of Rochester, in New York.
Dr. Haslam is most proud of his three amazing children and their individual accomplishments. In his spare time, he enjoys snowboarding, kiteboarding, windsurfing, dirt bike riding, wakeboarding, cycling and running—activities which have caused his own orthopaedic injuries, such as fractures of the scapula, clavicle, ribs and a torn ACL.
LAUREN DOLL, MSN, FNP-BC
Lauren Doll joined Haslam Orthopaedics in February 2019. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky in 2016. Born and raised in Frankfort, Kentucky, Lauren moved to Nashville in 2015. She spent several years as an RN on the Medical/Surgical floor as well as the Cardiac ICU, where she gained a wealth of knowledge and the foundation to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. In December 2018, she achieved her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and friends. As a competitive tennis player on the UK Women’s Tennis Team, she still enjoys the playing the game whenever she can. Her other passions include barre fitness, cooking and travel.
AMANDA FRYER, MSN, FNP-C
Born and raised in Dover/Clarksville, Tenn., Amanda is excited to serve her local community. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2006) and Master of Science in Nursing (2012) from Austin Peay State University. Her love for orthopaedics began while working night-shifts as an RN on the ortho floor at Gateway Medical Center. After completing her family nurse practitioner program, she cared for patients at a local walk-in clinic before spending 3 years with an interventional pain management practice and pursuing orthopaedics.
Amanda enjoys attending local events with her husband and young son. She loves live music (especially bluegrass), trying new restaurants, cooking and traveling. She serves on both the Board and Planning Committee for the TN Nurse Practitioner Association’s annual state conference. She is excited to help patients achieve their orthopaedic goals and desired outcomes.
